The Yorkshire Larder

Brand identity and online store

The Yorkshire Larder is an online store where you will find a whole county’s worth of delicious artizan food all in one place. Most of the products are handmade and not available on the high street.

The design of the The Yorkshire Larder ‘label’ reflects the county’s rich history of producing quality food and drink. Although the label is utilised in very contemporary ways it is the traditional elements of the logo that give it a feeling of quality and history: the mix of typefaces, the shape of the label, the jam pot and spoon motif, even the word artizan is used in its traditional form using a ‘z’.

The online store, as well as being attractive and easy to navigate, has to perform several important functions: 1) a shop front for all the great artizan producers in the region, 2) promote all the wonderfully delicious foods and drink the region has to offer, 3) give producers complete control with a secure content management system that allows them to quickly and easily upload and manage their products, stock, images and profile, 4) provide a transparent and efficient credit control and invoicing system for both The Yorkshire Larder and the producers.
